RIS 3: Creating a RIS diskette and supported network adapters
RIS diskette (RIS Boot disk) - Enables to use RIS service on computers that are not
equipped with the network card with PXE ROM. Unfortunately, for the present only for some PCI network cards.
To create the diskette use rbcfg program located in the
REMINST shared directory (\Admin\i386) on the server.
After clicking the "Adapter List" button you will get the list of supported adapters
It is a list of PCI adapters by
3COM, COMPAQ, DEC, HP, Intel and SMC company.
It is disable to add other cards, probable adding of other cards is in the future
when installing some service pack.
