How to change the logon screen?

There is no simple tool for changing the logon screen in Windows XP. The most frequently used program for changing the logon screen is the Logon Loader that you can download from the Internet (http://www.radfiles.com/logonloader/). This program enables you to replace the logon screen for a screen file downloaded from the Internet where you can find thousands of them. There also exist programs that help you to create your own screen files and let other users use them, too. Before you change the screen, it is recommended that you backup the original file (%windir%\system32\logonui.exe). There is also one another way to change the logon screen - start Windows XP emergency boot and replace the logonui.exe file for a file downloaded from the Internet. However, the Logon loader can do this much faster, without rebooting and contains many other useful features.
